D169 : Corgi Bentley Continantal 224

Sad looking with no steering no spare tire, tires missing, lost headlamp, no rear lamps, broken front bumper but sound and worth restoring. After strip down and paint removal there was more damage found to the seats and rust to the boot spring and suspension. One front axle and king pin was corroded and locked in place so a soak in penetrating oil and some gentle persuasion freed them. The hub has also some damage and may be replaced as I have also to source on for the missing spare in the boot. All quite repairable but attention will have to be given to the chromed bumpers and grille as I do not have a way of re-chroming, and stripping the chipped chrome may be a problem

D628 : Corgi Bentley Continental 224

Used as a donor vehicle for another Bentley Continental but still has enough good parts to restore to a reasonable level. The interior seats and the front grille/bumper were used and copied to complete this one. The original color was black and this is how it will be finished.
