Corgi Renault 16 260
Ready to restore. Poor paintwork but otherwise complete and working. On stripdown the inside was seen to be quite corroded but salvageable. The tires hardened and hubs rusted to the axles. The springs were removed, axles removed and cleaned. The rear window was a clip in but care was taken in removal. Holes for rivets were in pillars that are quite thin so I drilled right through with a slightly oversized bit so that the tapping would not split the pillars. All cleaned ready for a respray, weather permitting currently -15C. Weather now above freezing so outside to primer and two top coats. Ready now for detail and assembly. Painted the engine bay and reassembled. A few paint chips on the way but touched up. All good and working, now for the box. And finally the box. Not the original design. Maybe sometime I will do the transparent box./images/1.jpg)
